The spire on the right is that of the Methodist Church, the one of the left is that of the Episcopal Church at Oak and White which burned down several years after this picture was taken.

Lehigh Valley Railroad Station - The map of 1899 shows a Lehigh Valley RR station at the southern end of town, just below Laurel St. near Main St.
Schuykill Railway - Shenandoah PA - Construction Photo - Here is a 1918s era 8 X 10 original photograph of the traction, trolley, or interurban railway track at being installed on the Schuylkill Railway Co. in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania. This is most likely a one of the kind historical photograph and was not duplicated. The photograph is mostly showing the use of an Indianapolis Electric Welder. In the photograph it shows the Indianapolis Switch & Frog Co. Indianapolis Welder (made in Springfield Ohio ), a steam roller that actually looks like a railroad steam engine, building, workmen, and railroad tracks being installed in the middle of the street, and the welder with his welding hood or mask. Railroad switch blocks also appear on the welder's wagon.
